I love this Wacom Tablet....

Anyway, this is a WIP for a character in a level I'm designing. The first face (far left) is Tyrant with parts of his skull forcing themselves out, but still covered in skin (hence the lines showing the restraint of skin over bone. The middle one is the same, just without the texture showing through the skin. The last one is Tyrant with his skull "mask" broken off and just his skin. For right now, the skin is human muscle tissue, but once I go in and add more detail, the human muscle will just be the base. Let me know what you think overall.

I'm really dgging the middle one, these look pretty cool so far. I might add a little line work on the brow if i were you; seem a tid boring on the forehead with all the action on the face.

Thanks...As for the mouth/brow ridge skull thing, that's supposed to look like it's forcing its way out of the skin (like growing larger). Should I show a difference in skull texture or just have whatever skin I use for him be stretched along those parts?

Also, what do you think of the mouth? I wanted to give a creepy sealed shut look to it...

So you think I should ditch the scales (that's the texture on the first one)???

or try to carry the textu into the forehead; it doesn't seem to belong together the way it looks now.

Of course texture differences are great. It gives the viewer some more "eye candy". thats just my personal opinion.
